Applications are invited as per the enclosed format for the following posts under the project entitled
Development of IEC module for the promotion of different local pearl millet products for reduction
of MDDs among rural population of Nagaur district of Rajasthan” at Desert Medicine Research
Centre, Jodhpur. The posts are to be filled up on purely temporary basis for a period of one year and
will be renewed annually with periodical evaluation and also depending upon the duration of the
projects.
Consultant (One)
Salary: Rs. 45,360/- p.m. fixed.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 70 years.
Essential Qualifications: The candidate should have 10 years experience (field experience/ lab
experience) after completion of post graduation in Home Science /Foods & Nutrition / Science from
recognized University
Research Assistant (Three) : (one reserved for SC)
Salary: Rs. 27,945/- p.m. fixed.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years.
Essential Qualifications: Graduate in Science in required subjects (Life Science/Home
Science/ Nutrition from recognized University with one year relevant experience in the lower
grade or one year field experience/ lab experience from a recognized institution.
Field Worker (Three)
Salary: Rs.16,650/- p.m. fixed.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years

Essential Qualifications: 12th Pass in Science and 2 years field/laboratory experience* in
Govt recognized organization.
*B.Sc degree shall be treated as 3 years experience.
Technician C (Lab Technician) : One (Reserved for OBC)
Salary: Rs.16,650/- p.m. fixed.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years.
Essential Qualifications:12th Pass in Science and 2 years diploma (DMLT) or 12th in Science
subjects with one years DMLT and one year required experience in recognized organization as
Technician B or two years laboratory/field experience *
*B.Sc degree shall be treated as 3 years experience.
