CSIR – Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute is a constituent unit of Council of Scientific &
Industrial Research (CSIR), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Science & Technology,
Government of India. CSMCRI with much scientific excitement has achieved technological excellence with
several granted patents in the core mandate of the Institute and is one among the top performing national
R&D laboratories in the country. The Institute undertakes a wide range of basic and applied R&D projects
spanning the areas of chemistry, biology and engineering. The Institute has excellent infrastructure by way of
sophisticated analytical instruments, modern laboratories, pilot plants, library, local area network and
workshop.

AGE LIMIT AND RELAXATIONS:
1. The upper age limit for all the above posts shall be 28 years. The date for determining the upper age
limit, qualifications and/or experience shall be the closing date prescribed for receipt of Application i.e.
14.07.2015.
An application fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) non-refundable is payable in the form of
crossed Demand Draft with minimum validity of 03 months in favour of the Director, CSIR – CSMCRI
and payable at Bhavnagar. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women/PwD Category and regular
employees of CSIR as well as identified Casual Workers in CSIR are exempted from payment of
application fee. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

The interested candidates may download the prescribed Application Form from the Institute website:
www.csmcri.org. Application Form can also be collected in person from the Recruitment & Assessment
Cell of the Institute during office hours OR by sending a request along with a self - addressed envelope
of 11" X 5" size affixed with postage stamps of Rs.10/- which should reach the Section Officer (R&A),
CSIR - Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Gijubhai Badheka Marg, Bhavnagar – 364 002, Gujarat, on or before 19.06.2015 OR by sending a requisition to recruitment@csmcri.org through email.
The application on the format given to this Advertisement duly filled in and completed in all respects
along with recent Photograph affixed on the application form together with self- attested copies of
educational certificates, mark-sheets, caste certificate, experience certificate, application fee etc should
reach the office of the Administrative Officer, CSIR – Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research
Institute, Gijubhai Badheka Marg, Bhavnagar – 364 002 on or before 14.07.2015. The envelope should
be super-scribed with the name of the post & post code.
