Inland Waterways Authority of India, invites applications from officers retired from the post /rank of Executive Engineers / Deputy Directors (Engineering) or equivalent, from the Central Government / Armed Forces / Autonomous Bodies / Ports or from persons employed with private Companies, for appointment as Consultant (Mechanical / Marine) to be filled up on contract basis initially for a period of three years, which may be extended for another two years based on the performance.
Sr. Consultant (Mechanical/Marine) : (Posts 02) for Head Office, NOIDA. The consolidated monthly remuneration will be fixed as per the existing guidelines, not exceeding Rs. 65,000/-
Consultant (Mechanical/Marine) : (Posts 02) 01 each for Regional Offices Kolkata / Patna / Guwahati on consolidated monthly remuneration as per guidelines, not exceeding Rs. 50,000/- existing per month.
Qualification:- The Consultants for posting in regional offices should be either a Diploma or Graduate from any of the engineering disciplines ofMechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering & Naval Architecture from
recognized Universities / Institutions.
The Sr. Consultants for posting at H.O. should be a Graduate from any recognized Universities / Institutions in one of the above mentioned Engineering disciplines. No other Engineering discipline will be considered.
