National Centre for Antarctic and Ocean Research, Earth System Science Organization under Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India, responsible for coordinating the Indian Antarctic Expeditions is looking for Medical Doctors on contract basis for its research bases at Antarctica for the season 2014‐16 as per the detail given below:
Medical Officer – for around 12 months Surgeon / Physician * : (Posts 05).
Qualifications :
1. M.B.B.S. from recognized university
2. Desirable: Post Graduate qualification (MD/MS/DNB) from a recognized University.
3. Experience: Four years experience in the case of medical graduates (i.e. MBBS)
and one year experience in the case of candidates having Post Graduate qualification (i.e.MD/MS/DNB).
Contract wages of Rs. 73,656/-per month for candidates holding MBBS Degree (with four years experience) and for candidates holding Post‐Graduate qualification Rs.85,932/- per month for the entire duration of contract.
